COR® Certification is achieved through the successful completion of three steps: completion of required training, implementation of your safety and health program, and verification by CSAM that the national COR® standards are met.

Each year SMACNA’s Safety Excellence Awards Program (SSEAP) recognizes members with the lowest injury/ illness rates over the previous calendar year. Awards are presented to participating contractors with the lowest injury/ illness incidence rate (as computed using the OSHA incidence rate formula).

Awarded to a company in Brant County that possesses a strong corporate philosophy and high standard of employee and customer relations, and has made exceptional achievements, a positive impact in the region, demonstrates environmental responbility and exemplary corporate citizenship.
