ONE CALL DOES IT ALL!
Exceeding Expectations for Over 40 Years!
In 1977, Duane Bower saw the need to service Brantford’s thriving industrial market and started Brantford Mechanical Limited. From its roots, BML offered roofing and electrical trades beyond those mechanical trades such as gas fitting, plumbing, sheet metal fabrication and HVAC. In 1997, shortly after James Thomson bought the company, the name was changed to BML Multi Trades Group Ltd. to better describe the fact that by then, BML had added Millwrighting and Sprinkler Fire Protection services and was also servicing companies throughout south western Ontario. BML continued to expand beyond its industrial roots and also became an established commercial and institutional service contractor with a fleet of over 40 vehicles, 80 employees with a 24/7 central dispatch. Shortly after BML sold its roofing division in 2002, Jim DiNovo and Doug Cormier purchased the business and continued BML’s traditions of quality, service and growth. In 2007, BML moved to their brand new Brantford 23,000 ft2 facility to better support it administration, fabrication, machine shop and service and equipment inventories. That following year, BML was recognized with the Chamber of Commerce Brantford Brant’s Business Excellence Award for Company of the Year.
BML’s President, Jim DiNovo states “Doug and I are committed to ensuring BML’s traditions of quality workmanship, customer service and employing the best tradespersons. We are proud of the company we have become and the work we do. Our customers are demanding and they see the quality in our service, installations and project management. They know what is out there and want the best – that’s why they call BML.”
